Volunteer with us
If you want to be a part of our impact, we have several volunteer opportunities available. Whether you are passionate about youth development, recreation, childcare, or accessibility, there is something for you.
English Academy and Children’s Program
Our program for English as a Second Language is open three days a week for adult learners from different communities. We have classes available in the morning and evening for learners with different levels of proficiency. During the adult classes, we also have activities for children aged from birth to 17 years old.
We are looking for volunteers who can support our teachers by helping with learning activities and providing care for our learners, both adults and children.
Recreation and Soccer Program
Our recreation program utilizes soccer to make a positive impact on the lives of children and youth aged 5 to 24. We welcome volunteers who can either start a team in a new area of the city/county or assist with an existing team. Our leagues run throughout the year, with a spring league, summer teams for school-age children, and fall leagues.
Every July, we organize a junior soccer tournament for all of our children's teams. If you have a group who would like to help us with this event specifically, we would be delighted to have you participate.
Driver Education Program
Our driver education program aims to help our clients become more independent by teaching them how to transport their families to appointments, access food, commute to work, and more. By increasing their mobility and understanding of traffic laws and systems, our clients can better adjust to life in the US.
You can help clients achieve this major milestone by becoming a permit class instructor and/or assisting with driving instruction.
