We understand that helping others can be challenging, and that's why this class will also cover essential topics on how to avoid burnout, enabling you to continue assisting longer. This part of the training will be led by KY Steps, a local therapy center that specializes in helping people from different cultures. Their unique perspective will help you navigate long-term care of immigrants and refugees.

Walking with the Wounded & Mentorship & Sponsorship Explained

Assisting individuals who have undergone a traumatic experience may be challenging. We are pleased to offer an introductory class in partnership with KY Steps (Trauma Center). The course aims to equip you with essential information and tools that can aid you in assisting others who have gone through trauma.

This class will also cover fundamental topics regarding sponsoring refugees through a program known as "Welcome Corps" and mentoring families and young individuals who reside in our community already.
